Endorsements Stream in for Paul Krekorian

With about a month until the March 8 election, community, newspaper and civic group endorsements have started to pour in for Paul Krekorian. The Los Angeles Times, for example, said:
Aside from his tough stance on the DWP, Krekorian generally gets high marks from council observers as a thoughtful decision-maker who asks a lot of questions and seeks a thorough understanding of issues before voting. His years in government service have provided him with broad knowledge of the process. He seldom goes in for grandstanding, and he is not an ideologue.
In addition to the Times, Paul's supporters include Dr. Bob Cohen, President of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce; Elizabeth Dymond, a Studio City resident and member of the LAUSD Surplus Property Oversight Committee; Todd Royal, Vice President of the Studio City Neighborhood Council and Boardmember of the Studio City Resident's Association; John Walker, President of the Studio City Neighborhood Council;  Wayne Kartin, a boardmember of the Studio City Neighborhood Council; Sunland-Tujunga residents Gerhard KrugerElektra KrugerTomi Lyn BowlingAbby DiamondAsta Criss, Past President of the Valley Glen Neighborhood Association; Valley Glen resident and neighborhood activist Sharon FordJudy Price, President of the Valley Glen Neighborhood Association and Vice President of the Greater Valley Glen Neighborhood Council; and Van Nuys residents Denly Ford and Jo and Bob Oberstein.

Paul also garnered support from the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley, L.A. County Democratic Party, Police Protective League, Angeles Chapter of Sierra Club California, Stonewall Democrats, Stonewall Young Democrats, the L.A. County Federation of Labor, the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), the Los Angeles Airport Police Officers Association and others.
